R Lincolniensi episcopo et omnibus sancte matris ecclesie filiis tam presentibus quam futuris prelatis et subiectis Rannulfus comes Cestrie salutem Notum sit omnibus hanc cartam videntibus et audientibus me dedisse et concessisse et presenti scripto confirmasse deo et abbatie de Pipewelle et monachis ibidem deo servientibus terram illam et boscum scilicet Miclehaue que est de feodo meo de Geitentona in qua predicta abbatia constructa est et terram illam et boscum de Stokes quam Willelmus de Albeneio eis dedit et ius hereditarium quod in ea clamo in elemosinam puram et perpetuam liberam et quietam ab omni seculari servitio et exactione pro salute anime mee et predecessorum meorum et uxoris mee et liberorum meorum Et sciant omnes quod ego predictam abbatiam sub manu et protectione mea habeo et omnes res eidem ecclesie pertinentes sub tuitione mea suscepi Quare volo ut firmiter et quiete sine alicuius vexatione et violentia omnes possessiones suas in perpetua pace tanquam monachi mei teneant nec ullam molestiam ab aliquo sustineant Huius donacionis hii sunt testes Radulfus capellanus Iohannes capellanus Ricardus capellanus
